About Our Boarding Cattery

Iris & Marc Wheeldon are very proud to welcome you to our brand new luxury cattery.
Since buying Westlodge Cattery in 2006, our vision has always been to ensure we have the best cattery facilities in the country. We have been deeply upset to see the conditions in some licensed catteries that are trusted to look after much loved cats whilst owners are away. We wanted to create much happier, safer, hygienic, loving and fun place for cats to be cared for.
We have put in a great deal of effort to make sure we have staff who have a vast knowledge of Cats, and their many different needs, in order to make their stay with us a wonderful experience. So, when we decided to build our brand new cattery in 2008, we sought advice from experts and organisations who care for cats, and companies that manufacture catteries, to make sure we invested in the very best facilities.
This summer we are putting in place ISO 9001:2000 (British Standards Certification), and Westlodge Cattery will be the first in the country to have achieved this recognition for quality assurance. We feel that this shows our commitment to the high standards we aim to achieve here at Westlodge.
We pride ourselves on the care we give, and feel it’s vitally important that all our guests have the attention and stimulation they fully deserve.
